Sometimes I have dealt with anxiety, especially through my earlier symptoms of MS. But lately I have felt extremely overstimulated with everyday tasks. Things like driving and listening to music. Or it feels like my body needs to be doing something in every part of the house at once. But while I feel this way, I also have a difficult time focusing on individual tasks and prioritizing, even when I make lists. Does this happen to anyone else?
I would do it at work all the time. Running 4 and 5 tasks at a time, running 3 apps to compile 3 reports at the one time. It's great when it works but when the brain fog depends and you are left bewildered, it's a nightmare. We have one brain, let it deal with one thing at any one time. I found things much more manageable and pleasurable when I learned how to do that. A lot less stressful too.
Yes. I find myself trying to split in two, like picking up the dog water bowl while trying to head into the bedroom to get my brush. The mind is running a multi-marathon while the body can't keep up. Too much stimulation, for me, creates a blank brain where it just can't do anything.
This happens to me all the time... I too have lists and try to focus on one thing at a time but end up doing a hundred and one other things unintentionally.
Yeah KathieMead that sounds similar. It's a sensation of "going crazy" which is fun hahaha.
Sometimes I feel really, what I describe as, frazzled and like I need to get inside my skull and scratch my brain. Not sure if this is similar but it kind of reminded me of it
