Taking Gilenya for 3yrs- no side affects or relapses. Specialist suggests switching meds due to PML risk? Has anyone switched & to what?
I had to quit Gilyena due to Macular Edema. My neuro switched me to Aubagio.
I have been on Gilenya about that long. I have antibodies for PML and can't go on Tysabrie. I went of for a bit but got back on doing much better. Waiting on new drug to come out next year.
Is your specialist an MS specialist? How are you at risk for PML? I have been on gileyna for 3yrs myself and I'm jc+. I've just found d out from this site that gileyna can cause PML.
I'm on Aubagio and JC+. Only been on it for 2 weeks and love it so far.
Think it takes 6 months to be full strength. What would he switch u to? Aubagio I would guess.
Hey there fellow MSers I am in need of support and advice and hope that I can get some help from you all…
