Just curious if anyone has taken Ampyra and how much has it helped your walking? My walking is getting worse and worse after having MS for 19 years. Exercise doesn't help anymore to strengthen my legs. Going to talk to my doctor next month about this "walking pill" but first I would like to get some feedback from someone who has actually taken Ampyra and if it has helped?

6 years now, no side effects. Wonder drug, the day after my first dose, I walked normal, no tipping on grass or falling.

I have been taking Copaxone for 10 years and Ampyra for 8 years. I fight very hard to stay on my feet and continue to walk with a walker. Who the hell really knows if it works?? I only know I am still upright with my walker...very important to me.

Type @Ampyra into the search box, there are many threads. It has worked for me for over 3 years now.

I took Ampyra for 6 months and I was able to walk faster. Because I have mild vertigo and imbalance issues, the Ampyra made me worse. I fell a couple times and decided walking faster wasn't necessarily safe in my case and stopped.

Been taking amours for 4 years.
It's really worked for me, less tired muscles, less pain and my legs "talk" to my brain.
Once or twice the pharmacy has left me stranded without it and I've known the difference!!
I don't have any side effects?
Don't think there are any?
