I been on treatment for a month now and my eye sight hasn't fix itself yet.
When I lost my sight, it took almost 2 months for me to get my sight back. But it has never been the same.
My eyesight has dramatically worsened. I'm pretty much wearing them all the time too. I needed varifocals but because I'm dizzy enough (they told me they can make you dizzy whilst getting used to them)
I opted for two pairs instead one for distance and one for reading. A lot go I tend to wear my reading ones all the time when I'm bad.. its like iv had laser eye surgery. The difference is humongous. So I'd definitely recommended getting a re test done.. hope you feel better soon my lovely.. xxx
I have major vision issues for the past 20 years. I need new glasses for both reading, computer and distance every 2 months. I could not get used to the progressives or bifocals and I gave it 9 months! But the nausea and vertigo was not worth it. I cannot see anything without my distance glasses. I actually have to sleep in a recliner now and my glasses are on, because when I open my eyes I cannot see what time it is and get very confused. My husband actually found the largest digital display clock that he could find and I still cannot see it without my glasses. What I usually do now is get a new prescription and but new glasses online which is so much cheaper.
I have had double vision since being diagnosed in 1988. I wear prisms in my glasses so I can see single otherwise I see perfect side-by-side doubles. My optic nerve was badly damaged and there was no way to repair the problem. I have learned to deal with it to the best of my ability.
I had 2x vision for about 3 months. Had to do the dreaded Solu-Medrol iv style. The 2x is gone but it didn't fix everything.
