I have been on copaxone for 5 months and I am seriously thinking of switching to gilenya. Injections are a little too much for me and also I have gained over 35 pounds since I got on it. I have an appointment with my neurologist tomorrow and want to ask him about it but I would love to know how everyone feel about the medicine first… read more

Definitely have a talk with your neuro. Dr.; Gilenya has worked well for me but as we all know tolerance and performance varies from person to person.

Good luck!

I took copaxone for about 10 years. I am now on Gilyenya, and doing well, I really like how much easier it is.

I had to switch from Copaxone to Glienya a few months ago, no problems/side effects. I will have another MRI in June to make sure no new lesions. It's easy! One pill a day, but shared solutions was so supportive, I miss them.

I have taken Copaxone for probably close to 8 years. Have done very well - no new lesions - yes hate the shots but has made a difference sine they now have the 3 day.
