Anyone have any experience with essential oils? A couple are supposed to help with MS. Not sure what to believe so I wondered if anyone has tried them? Thanks

Yes! I use products made with essential oils for alot of side effects resulting from MS. In fact, I make my own! I started because I was having problems with pain & am allergic to EVERYTHING! So I made homemade Cayenne Salve & it helped! Then I started making other things - bath salts for relaxation, an all natural lip balm. And I made a really great Plaintain Salve for my husband (he works in HVAC & always gets nicks, cuts & little blisters). You can find recipes for almost everything you need or want! I DO NOT recommend that you take ANY essential oils internally - they are NOT to be taken internally. Also, I recommend you do alot of reading about everything you do. I bought a couple of books that were great for what I wanted/needed. I also make our own laundry detergent, spot spray, etc. I try to keep the chemical usage down to a bare minimum in our home. I keep a large jar of baking soda on my kitchen counter - it works on almost everything! LOL!

I use peppermint oil in tea. It seems to help with joints.. I also put a drop or two on a cloth that I keep in my pillow case. The scent is very relaxing and cleansing for me...

oops,I also wear a diffuser necklace that I made and keep lavender on a pad in it,peppermint oil is another I use a lot of cause I have it in a spray bottle with distilled water to spray on me to keep mosquitoes away, and its also great to put on cotton balls to rub around your door frame or window to keep ants and spiders away then throw the cotton ball under your trash bag to help with odor, sorry for rabbleng but there so many uses for essential oil.
