Started Gilenya at the end of March. It has been the easiest drug for me so far. One pill and no side effects that I can feel (don't know about internal stuff or blood work yet). They sent a doctor to my house to sit with me all day, but nothing happened. The doc who came said she had never monitored someone who had a problem with the first dose. Have been on copaxone, betaseron, extavia, and tecfidera. No more sit reactions, itching, welts, diarrhea, and all the other unpleasant side effects. Had my first visit to the neuro today and he said I was doing great.

I started it in March too, no problems. One pill a day, easy! I will have another MRI soon. Hope it works for you!

Hi,
I have been taking it since March 2016 and so far no problems that I can see. Going for follow-up MRI soon, and blood work results. They follow you very closely. Gilenya, also called me for follow up eye test. You see that they are on top of their cases, and always checking. I had my first dose with no problems too. 👍

Tsabri is what my neurologist wanted me on but tested positive for the virus they test for, so, this is the next on his list. Go back tomorrow for ekg and blood draw.

Great answer ! I also had no problems w/ Gelenya side effects. I've been on it 5 years now w/ no MS flair ups or side effects! @Timbofrog
