I've been on it since 3/17. I LOVE sweets so I tried her fudge recipe. It was ok but the next time, I tried it as mouse/pudding. That's how I've stayed on the food plan (yummy). I actually look forward to bacon, sausage, or canned sardines/mackerel in the morning along with a green smoothie. I'm not hungry at all. I'm not 100% right on my portions, but I usually have 2 cups of greens smoothie in morning and 2 or 3 more cups of stirfried greens around 5 or 6 when I have my next meal. I read the book and keep referring back to it. It's actually easy -I didn't say fun. It takes no time to chop up some veggies and add greeens. I dont cook them long because that's just my preference. I need groceries more frequently but my husband buys them. He only needs to go to produce section, sometimes coconut milk and sardines. I go on days I have acupuncture or massaage. I've tried some veggies I've never had before and most have been great .I hope this helps you, but you've got to get your mind right. It took months for me to decide to "jump in" feet first. I went straight to Wahl's Paleo Plus because I knew I couldn't gradually cut out all sugar. I really like the way it makes me feel, but, it hasn't helped MS symptoms yet. She says for some people it may take years. I have my last 3 Lemtrada infusions in Sept and along with the food plan, I'm staying positive!!!!!!

I love the Wahls Protocol. "Feeding My Mitochondria" is awesome :). I definitely recommend with a good workout regimen.

I bought the book, read it... I also bought the Swank Diet for MS book and read it... I went gluten, yeast, sugar, soy, and cassien (dairy) free for three years....nothing changed in my disability / ability. I am SPMS so that may make a difference. I fully agree a healthy diet and active lifestyle ( depending on your ability) , taking care of your body, miind, and soul play a huge part in MS.... not sure any specific diet is the key.

Yes, you can get it on Amazon. It's highly medically technical, Terry Wahls MS story is astounding she has a FB site, we are Wahls Warriors and Sue's change in health, lack of fatigue and energy levels are amazing. We are shouting it from the roof tops.

Sue is a new person on The Wahls Protocol. We have just returned from The Netherlands where our camper van broke down. We had to be rescued, driven to a hotel 30 miles away with no lifting and transfer aids and be careful about eating. We have just returned home and Sue is less tired than I am. We love the diet and considering that 26 months ago she was so fatigued,I am amazed at the difference. Food as medicine makes so much sense. Give it a go.
