The agent informed me that she believes that I will not need to acquire this until the age of 65. That if under Medicare with disability prior to 65 - good news is there are few limits and no need for additional plans. Anyone have more information on this to share?
I would talk to a different broker. I am on disability and just turned 60. My additional insurance to Medicare is through AARP.mit is AARP Medicare Complete.
I have had Medicare for at least 10 year's but until my husband retired which was in May I had plenty of insurance. But once he retired I went through AARP & got their Supplemental Insurance.

Call Social Security's Office or go visit them. Ask them if they have a Clerk who can help you Sign up for Medicare Advantage Plans. They know most PEOPLE need assistance signing up for it.
Went on Disability in 2004. Go to SS office, or check with a Local Senior Center, mine has a lady who puts in your info. in the computer to help one choose the correct Supplemental Ins. L'm 48. Good Luck!
