As of late my mind has been telling me that my wife is cheating... I've been looking through her phone text messages saw some things confronted her she says she's not.. we've been fighting abou this for awhile now... I feel really bad for this I don't want to lose her..
So my question is.. has any of you has had their mind play tricks on them.. and if so is it caused by the MS?

I think when we are unwell or having a bad day we can become anxious and depressed. I find that I suffer terribly from a lack of confidence and sometimes paranoia, with social and work life. I think possibily this is your problem also. I would explain to our wife how you are feeling and ask her to show you her phone and explain the texts etc to put your mind at rest. If she is not willing to do this maybe a chat with your MS nurse may help to help you find some relaxation technics. I find swimming helps me enormously to relax some find yoga helps. I am also on medication as depression and anxiety are a large part of MS. Hope this helps xx

I will agree with Dizzy, but you maybe over thinking the situation and may have more than one thing happening. Best way to push someone out the door is to accuse them of terrible things. Just let it rest and what happens will happen. If she is cheating on you then she is out the door already and nothing you can do about it. Marriage does not mean ownership, just partnership and some partners do sabotage the union. It is just life, don't even think about it until it happens. You must trust or you are in violation of the union you formed.

I think sometimes we think, because of our limitations, that our spouses must be noticing 'normal people' more. If it's just your mind and not her actions, I say believe her, if you usually trust her.

I can get very paranoid and anxious and I do believe it's the ms as it comes and goes, it's worth when I'm very tired and my other symptoms are playing up so it's possible.
