I was on Betaseron,Rebif and Copaxon. out of them all Betaseron helped the most the others didn't seem to do much, Copaxone helped the least. I'm on Tysabri now and have been for about 4 years,and it is the best for me! I can do a lot of things I haven't been able to do. It's a miracle worker!!

I started on copaxone, it didn't work for me either. Betaseron was much better (because I was able to inject less) but, I was still getting lesions. My neuro. Told me about Tysabri.
Pros:While on it I felt more energized!
It's an infusion you receive once a month
I had no stomach issues (I also have gastrointestinal. Issues. So I have to becareful)
I started 3 years ago and have had no new.lesions. (while taking this med)
Cons: (for me ) after receiving the dose you may feel extreme fatigue for that day.
A few days before your next infusion, you will feel less energetic and withdrawl. It's like your craving your next fix.
It usually takes about an hour for the infusion
I recently had an exasperation, but I have been off my tysabri for more than 6 months due to.family planning. Most importantly talk to your dr. About the jcv virus. You can get it from this medication.

For me the benefits out weighed the cons. Hope this helps!

You must remember that every body is different. If you have a good Md. who cares and is there for you you are one up on many. I was on Abagio and had severe allergic reactions. It almost killed me. But some of that was due to an MD that was never available even to the ER. Than I was on Rebif. not good for me either. Again no MD. So I am on my own right now. I have had this 14 years but God is good and I am not in a chair and I am getting around. I have bad days and very bad days but I'm still here. Hang in there and just keep trying. Merry Christmas.
