If you are in the Secondary Progressive stage, how often do you get an MRI?
It's been at least 3 years since my MRI. My physician doesn't even mention MRIs to me. I don't really care. A new one may show more scaring or not; and there's nothing he or I can do about it. I'm taking responsibility for my treatment, though it is a challenge. What could another MRI yield that would justify the exorbitant cost to Medicare and me? I'm 76 years old, and I'm just riding it out. :-)
No. MRI every year. I didn't even know that chemo was used for 2ndary pro. I'm on tech fidera.
Same drugs as rr.
I got my first mri after 2 years in early December. I'm happy to say that everything stayed stable in the past 2 years.
I often wonder why some people get them every 6 months or so...........I'm thinking, what's the point?
