Cold Weather

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question 💭
Buffalo, NY

I live in Buffalo, NY and my brain seems to spaz out more when I'm standing at the bus stop. I get real fatigued as well. It is not my friend.

Does the cold bother anyone else? If so, in what way?

My left hip will go into a terrible spasm from cold. I recently bought a long jacket to cover my hips and it's helped tremendously. It also flares up trigeminal neuralgia on my face and I have not figured out that one yet. Bundling up as much as possible is the best defense we have. I'm all about warm hats too which really help.

I've had cold sensitivity most of my life, as soon as the temp. drops below 65 degrees, the shivers start. My mind gets foggy and I make poor decisions. My answer to this is thermals always. Have different types and degree of warmth so I don't start sweating and shivering at the same time. Hoodies, thermal hats, scarves and always gloves.

Yes, I feel achy, tired, fatigued. I think i know what your talking about standing. It feels as though my mind has left my body and my body feels heavy.
