No barium swallow test. Yes been to the dentis like a week ago had fillings, but not on the same side is the pain ... the pain has been subsiding day by day... still hurts to talk loudly or in a certain way (singing or talking in voices... I have a 3 year old so we talk in silly voices sometimes) swallowing doesn't hurt so much any more

There are some nasty respiratory illnesses this year that can cause the type of pain you are having. Other than that, have you seen a dentist? Or, had a barium swallow test? Both of those can cause pain in seemingly unrelated areas. Trigeminal Neuralgia is an MS issue, dx by a neurologist.

Hi Lacey, I have MS too, I am from New Zealand, am 40.
I had a cold and flu virus for several weeks recently. Got antibiotics etc, has taken a lot of time to heal, particularly the horrid cough. Got pleurisy or pain in the chest too. Have been left after 2 weeks with the chest pain and the sore through you describe. How long did yours take to heal and were you given anything for it? I hope you're doing well now. Thanks!

Yes make an appointment with your doctor. I don't have this but have heard others on different forums talk about a jaw pain and related skin sensitivity. I'm not sure what it's called.

Oh ya ... right in the notch/knob of my jaw line... the yellow branch of the nerve!

Should I make an appointment with my neuro?

Could this be an exasperation? I was also very fatigued and weak for several days.
