Okay. I was in the ER for 14 hours last night having two blood transfusions and I started thinking (lol). Has anyone had the "Liberation Treatment"? From what I understand and from what those who have had this done have told me, there is a build up of iron deposits at the base of the neck causing blockages. These are then unblocked. Now, here is my question - "Why does the iron accumulate and cause blockages that need to be undone?" Is anyone else who has MS become anemic or had low iron… read more
Hi Gail,
Robert Fraser here. The iron build up is not in your IJVs , it is just above and in the brain. The Iron buildup is a result of reflux caused by the blockage. As well so is a degree of hypertension as well as others. I had my first treatment in 2010 and found relief from many of my symptoms. I need to go for another treatment and am presently fundraising for it. The "Liberation Treatment is not a cure for MS, as a matter of fact, it is not about MS. It is about CCSVI a vascular blood flow issue. Its correction relieves MS symptoms. Only a few of my symptoms have returned and I am drug free.
An questions feel free to ask.
Rob
you might have parasites causing anemia toxoplasmosis t Gondi parsite microscopic
also ironbuild up could be caused by Hemochromatosis an inherited iron condition excess iron but still could be anemic parasites need iron for reproduction body stores ironinorgans including brainto keep ironaway fromparasites this particular parasite cn pass the brain barrier and get into the brain
Thank you Rob and Gena...it help clarify what Liberation Treatment is to some degree.
I don't know about that treatment, but my doctor's assistant had my iron checked about a month ago because he said that it might be one reason I am having more difficulty with RLS.
Back in '87 before I was dx with CFS (probably a misdiagnosis), I went to a doctor who had me on weekly iron shots, after he bled medical dry (no longer willing to pay for those shots), he had me on iron tablets. No amount of iron brought me out of the funk I was in, my lovely narcoleptic, eye rolling type of fatigue. I quit the iron. Everything kind of went back to normal where I could continue to ignore symptoms or blame them on this new found scape goat, CFS.
Other than increasing RLS, I have never heard of low iron causing anything else with our ms.
Thank you Sunseeker.
