I have been told I do not breathe correctly. I am not using my transverse abdominal muscles and my pelvic floor along with my diaphragm to stabilize my body. In other words I am not using my deep inner core muscles to breathe and stabilize. So my PT says I am using my back muscles to try to stabilize which is causing pain and imbalance. They gave me exercises to do but it's slow going. PT says this is common in MS because the brain turns muscles off and you lose the connection to them and can't use them correctly.
