Members opened up honestly about crying after an MS diagnosis, with many sharing that they cried most after first being diagnosed or after losing abilities they once had, like walking, running, or using their hands. Several members described a deep sadness where tears would not come at all, and a few shared feelings of hopelessness, met with warm encouragement from the community to keep fighting and lean on faith. A recurring theme was that crying is a natural and healthy release, and that grieving your losses does not mean giving up the battle with MS.

I cried after I realized that the disease has progressed due to trying to go for a bike ride and I began throwing up after about minutes due to the heat. This was just after getting on enough meds to be able to walk which I couldn't due to months of excruciating spasms and cramping in my legs, back, and chest.

Never have. I've seemed to have lost the ability to cry, I wish I could some days. I feel like it but the tears never come.

More frustration I couldn't open something my hand had no strength & I kept dropping things, having a few falls, forgetting things & one of the children made a comment about telling me loads before & I went for a little walk to let go of the frustration of people not understanding.
