I'm not sure if this is MS or not. My right leg keeps falling asleep every time I sit somewhere for ?10? minutes or so. It wakes up in a few minutes if I'm standing. My MS feels like it is active. (My left leg falls asleep a little to, my left leg is dragging a bit. It falls asleep no matter what I sit on.) Has anyone ever had this? Should I be frantically contacting my neurologist? It has been going on for 2 weeks now and now my leg is dragging a bit. I'm worried.

It could be MS but also could be back issues. I thought my back issues were MS related until my Dr went me for an MRI because I could barely walk and it was getting worse. Finally I had my answer extremely pinched/ raised nerve in my back and I had an emergency lumbar microdiscectom...... "Discectomy is surgery to remove lumbar (low back) herniated disc material that is pressing on a nerve root or the spinal cord . It tends to be done as microdiscectomy, which uses a special microscope to view the disc and nerves."

Don't just see your Neuro but you GP too. Not everything in our bodies are MS related, even tho many times we feel that way. We need to remember we are more then our MS.

Good luck!

Contact your neuro with anything that is new or that your concerned about. Always.
On a separate note, do you have back issues?
I hope you find some answers. Hang in there.
