Has anyone ever forgot to take their medication and decided to just not take it again?
Plus, no diet will control your immune system. It has a mind of its own
I don't think just one symptom and one MRI should all that is used to diagnose MS. Tell me, did you have a lumbar puncture done? I firmly believe that the CSF Fluid test does help with diagnosing MS if you combine it with other testing. See link to article for reasons why:

For me the CSF test was the cherry on top for my diagnosis because my results were so high they were off the charts including the number of oligoclonal bands, only 3-4 are necessary I believe, mine had 13; close to a record. My MS journey was nothing but hard with permanent damage from relapses that hit every April and October; going through Copaxone, Tysabri, Gilenya and Aubagio within a four-year period, and finally finding relief with Aubagio from relapses for over three years and counting.
Stopped in 1998 and have never looked back!!!
At first, I didn't want to take the meds. They hurt. No pills back then. I was 20 years old and in denial. Took me almost three years to get it under control because I didn't want to take the meds. Managed just one or two relapses a year down from 6 or 7. Then moved on to every couple of years, then to 6 six years. from experience, it isn't worth it. I stayed on the same med for almost 12 years with very little long term damage that isn't repairable and it's only because I have to inject my muscles and they just couldn't take it any longer. Find one and stick to it. I had to change and have failed the pills and options of another injection. I'm 19 years into this and I still have minimal lesions on my brain and only 1 on my cervcial spine. Benefits most definitely out way!!
Forgetting to take your MS treatment is one of the worst things you can do. How many times have you skipped taking your pill? Do you realize that the sole reason of taking an MS treatment is to keep relapses at bay and damage hopefully away? If you stop, your protection goes away and you're wide open to relapses and damage, that can end up being permanent. Is that what you really want?
I keep saying this to people and it's true, I care about you and so do others in the MS community. I only want what's best for you!
