I don't get these much but used to when I was 15 16 then a couple years had my first ms attack (had diplopia double vision)

Migraines are common in people with relapsing-remitting MS. They last between 4 and 72 hours and have some of the following features: Preceded by an aura (blurry or distorted vision signaling that a headache is about to begin) or prodrome symptoms (including fatigue, hunger or anxiety)

@BarbaraCrawlyAdams, I think I would be shopping for a new neurologist. The #1 rule is Get a doctor that does his/her homework and believes you, because a patient knows their body better than ANYONE. You are the consumer, so you should get what you pay for. Not some QUACK to blow smoke up your keister. Best of luck, sweetie. Hugs

I get them but it's because of my neck. Not only is that where MS is but my neck is fusing together because of the great gene pool I'm in but the headaches mean for my the pain is bad and I'll start burping all the pain yuck is going into my stomach. I eat peppermint candy or drink peppermint tea. Also put a towel under my neck to stretch it out which gets the headache and neck ache to go away. Also in the web area between thumb and first finger put pressure and rub circles. The more it hurts the worse the headache is but that pain is better than the full blown migraine. Or get someone put their hand on the back of your neck and the other hand on your forehead and push you skull back together. It sounds weird but it helps. Hang in there

I do get migraines but usually no double vision. But sometimes the pain is so intense that I don't want to see light and keep my eyes closed as happened two weeks ago. I had woken early because of the migraine and the pain was so intense that I couldn't stand anything touching my arms/hands and had to throw the blankets off. Usually when the migraines are at their worst, I feel nauseous and dizzy but I've never vomited because of them.

And I can't stand light, noise, loud sounds, well any sounds for that matter and I throw up every time I get a migraine
