How long did it take you to get diagnosed?

I believe it two years for me to get a diagnosis once I started seeing my neurologist. I think it was getting optic neuritis and seeing the MRI which showed lesions on my brain that led to that diagnosis. In the past I had other symptoms and I had MRIs and spinal taps, etc. but those tests always came back good.

20yrs!! My doc never put me for tests, I started thinking it was all in my head then another doc believed me and the ball got rolling. My most recent scan of my eyes confirms that I had symptoms many yrs ago, it was 20yrs ago that I had optic neuritis. Just don't do what I did, shy away and accept the docs attitude. Fight for what u feel is right

It was over 10 years for me. It turns out that I have a number of autoimmune diseases and it was very hard to identify everything. Just know that you are not crazy and try to be patient as they work through your symptoms. Find a good neurologist that you trust and be patient. GOod luck!
