Has anyone used any essential oils to treat leg pain/tingling or other ms symptoms? I am having issues with taking @glatopa shots everyday because my skin cant seem to handle the medicine and everything. So i am looking for alternatives and also ways to manage syptoms of leg pain and such. Any suggestions would help. Thank you.
4 is much too low.. I'm thin and they told me 6 but I actually do 8 or 9.. Get some benedryl cream and also some aloe with lidocaine
@A MyMSTeam Member thanks for the advise i will try it on the higher setting tonight. It is crazy cause i have called the company multiple times and they said 4 is fine and when they came to set it up in person they had me set it at 5. I really want to stick with the shots instead of having to switch to other things.
Hey @A MyMSTeam Member
So most of the time my injection sites burn and itch (inflammation bleh) and when I do my legs I do fine them hurting. On one such occasion when I couldn't stand but there was no ice packs in hand a friend of mine (suffering fibromyalgia) gave me a bottle of 100% peppermint oil.
Try cupping your hand(s) and filling it with water. Add one drop of the peppermint oil (only one as it is very strong) and mix it with the water (If it seems too oily still add more water in your hand)
Apply to the area. Do not touch it again and wash your hands very well making sure to get all the peppermint oil/water mixture off.
Do not get any in your eyes and avoid touching your face. It smells really good, and has instant cooling relief from my experience (I tried multiple times after my friend first showing me it)
If you do try it I hope it works!
@A MyMSTeam Member is use it at a 4. And i do use an autoject pen. The company told me if i cant pinch a full inch of skin to use 4 or try less and it seems 4 is the best one i have found. My skin just seems to hate the meds
I do use at times. Also re your shot are you using an autoject... If you are what setting is it on?
