I had a MRI for my Cervical and lumbar spine and was told I have DDD so I'm afraid that with having DDD on top of MS that everything is going to progress even quicker? Has anyone else been diagnosed with both?

I have enough other conditions to make up for it. :( I do have people in my vets with MS group that have DDD. They haven't mentioned it making the course worse though you have enough dealing with both conditions!!! Not an easy journey that's for sure. Hugs to you.

I'm still waiting on my diagnosis and no, I don't have DDD, but in my MS Vets group, a lot of them do.

@anjeanetteYeah I didn't know what DDD was either until after the diagnosis. I don't think it makes me sick but I do have gait problems . I tend to fall over just standing still and every time I do I fall sideways to the right

Yes at first I didn't know what DDD was but when I was diagnosed this was involved with it as well. But it's all confusing to me I don't know if that is why I walk funny or don't feel good one day to the next it's just learning as I go along.

@A MyMSTeam Member DDD is Degenerative disc disease.... I actually was diagnosed with that before MS. I am in the process of doing blood work and brain mri. I have to say I have had things going on with me for the past three years and I realize MS was rearing it's ugly head back then! Makes me wonder what might be happening to me all this time with no treatment or the wrong treatments!
Best of luck on this cra cra roller coaster ride!
