I have had little twitches (fasciculations) all over my body for days, they last for a second or two and happen all over
Has anyone experienced this ? I had an NCV and EMG test done which my neurologist says is normal. He didn't even do my entire body, just one side of the EMG and said it was okay.
However, I am still freaking out because twitches aren't MS symptoms.

Anyone else going through this? I have been left with no explication as to what they are caused from if it's not something… read more

Have you tried accupuncture? I had helped me with twitches and back pain.

@A MyMSTeam Member by definition those little twitches are spasms. The muscle is involuntarily contracting and relaxing just very quickly. I've been taking magnesium and it reduces the symptoms. Also keeping hydrated is very important.

I take pramaprexole/meripex prescribed for restless leg syndrome.. for my spasms. It helps me as nothing else does. If I forget to take it I can feel 5 minutes prior to the spasms starting....
Does anyone ever get them so bad that you cry , scream, and want to jump out of your skin .? Its the worst feeling i have ever felt..

I second acupuncture, if you have coverage or can afford it, it certainly helps.

@A MyMSTeam Member Thank you!! I have read every single forum possible and I only end up freaking myself out more.
You're a star! Thank you again, I would have to agree with you. This symptom should be addressed more.
