I live in Massachusetts and the law states that if there is a generic I have to switch to it I have been on Copaxone for 3 years and only had to pay the co-pay and shared Solutions pick that up but now as of January 1st my company has a self-funded healthcare plan and they took eight and my MS drugs off the preventive drug list what that means to me is I have to meet my deductible of $4,000 and the $7,000 out of pocket expense then the plan will pick up the rest but I can't afford $7,000 every… read more

I started Copaxone in 2011 when I was diagnosed. I also used shared solutions. Up to May of this year, I was on the medication. I started having problems with the Company myself. The boxes would come damages and stuff like that. I told them that I didn't work and there was an assistance program where I didn't have to pay my copayment. I haven't taken any medication since May. But I also live in another state. I know they told me that Copaxone was one of the MS medications with the least side effects. I stopped taking the medication because I was getting very bad anxiety from it. But it's different for everyone and everyone's MS is different as well. I hope that the state could help you out. The generic for Copaxone is called Glatopa I was on it but My copay assistance ran out they offer copay assistance up to $9000 a year . You should look into it! My insurance would only cover generic also
I am now out of my Aubagio have been for a week. No funding available until the first of the year. I feel like a walking time bomb. 🙋❤️
