I have PPMS and I can not tolerate heat well, and I feel it could be because I stopped sweating. Too much heat makes me tired and weak and it sends me to bed for a few hours to rest. I just had my first infusions of Ocrevus in Sept `17. One of the effects is that I now am sweating again. I do a few household chores and vacuuming makes me sweat. I am anxious for summer to see if the heat bothers me less than before.

I have had 2 infusions of Ocrevus for my PPMS. I posted a few months ago that Ocrevus has given me the ability to sweat again doing household chores, so , wondering what summer would bring me. Well we have had summer like weather with temperatures reaching in the 80 degree F for days at a time. I have been outside in sun and also shade for extended periods of time and my body has handled well. Before Ocrevus I would come inside after one of these outings and become physically tired. Now I am normal (Or as much as wife admits) with no abnormal reactions to have been in the heat. I may or may not sweat during these outings.

Gawie I definitely get hot more even if others our cool. The summer is the worst. I got cooling clothes from a local sports store that really help me. They are special towels you wet and snap to activate. I don’t leave home without them. The towels come in many colours. You can order them on line to. They will make things much better.

Strangely I have found it hard to sweat much as the fatigue stops me working hard enough to sweat.
