Yep, I'm similar to @A MyMSTeam Member - I've always had sensitive eyes but 20-20 vision and used to do many of the things they mentioned. Now the sensitivity is even worse after having a bad case of optical neuritis in 2016. As a result, I can no longer be around fluorescent lighting. I have to rest my eyes, wear high quality sunglasses when outside, wear an eye mask at night (that really relieves the pressure & pain!), limit technology/screen use, and wear hats with visors a lot (even when in stores), and there's some places I just don't go anymore because it hurts too badly (DR did say that even though it's painful it shouldn't actually further damage my optical nerve). Normal lighting (homes, small stores or restaurants) is still ok. My "good" eye is still 20-20, and they say my "bad" eye is close to that still - but it takes me a very long time (ok like 5-8 seconds but it feels like an eternity!) to focus on letters sometimes as only part of the letters show up initially, and I've lost color detection in that eye. Definitely do what you can to take care of your eyes and maintain quality vision as long as possible. The optic neuritis was the wakeup call that made me make significant changes to my lifestyle in my battle against MS progression.

@A MyMSTeam Member yes eyes tire easy, ache occasionally, are sensitive to certain lights, with headaches. I just treat them like a baby—- rest them, use eye mask, limit iPhone reading, be aware of lightning & will wear visor even in stores.

Yes, rest eyes, sometimes soft cushion for eyes. When really bothers check with my eye doctor.
