I'm still new with all this, the site and MS. It feels like every time i get a handle and accept things I get faced with new challenges. I am not sure about my triggers and while I occasionally track symptoms that persist in a notebook it is hard to search it to try to find patterns. I was hoping for an app where you can maybe customize symptoms, what you did the day before in a drop down or something so it is always a specific data set and easy to search and try to find patterns. Honestly I have had MS for many years prior to diagnosis, I feel stress/ anxiety makes symptoms worse or over exertion and lack of rest cause me to experience more pain and discomfort. I try to space out busy days with do nothing days!

I use a free app called mySymtoms - it's mostly for allergic reactions, but I've successfully used it to track all my MS symptoms. It really helped me figure out food sensitivities when doing an elimination diet. There's a place to add notes, so every time I have any sort of symptom, I record all data that might be pertinent (food, other exposures, physical activity, pain location, etc) so I can find patterns. I found a huge correlation between certain foods and my symptoms. I now avoid those foods and most days feel pretty darn good! XX

Journaling;daily... Date and day of week, symptomatic or not & those symptoms upon waking& before medications. Weather should be noted, as it definitely plays a role. Also, note your temp, BP, pulse and your mood could be noted with an emoji or you could elaborate.
Later, after your medications have taken effect; also, note your symptoms, vitals, daily activity level and plans for your day, etc.

If you find an app, let me know I haven't been able to track my symptoms effectively and be able to discern any patterns or causes either.
