Really freaking out. Need some guidance or advice
Do you have a new lesion that is causing the eye problems? My neurologist says when my new lesion on spine goes inactive (unknown timeframes of course) then my numbness will improve. Would that also be the case for your vision? Did u have any steroids or is this caused by a medication?
I had a severe case of optical neuritis in 2016 - was at 0% vision in my right eye - total darkness. Happy to report that although I still have extreme sensitivity to fluorescent lighting, that my optical nerve is now operating at 61%. I don't see full color out of that eye, but my other eye compensates pretty well. When I get stressed or overheated, my vision deteriorates for sure, so I'm really careful about that now. I see my optical neurologist every 6 months to check on things. So far, no further deterioration. I will say that they believed my recovery had plateaued, and then I improved another 12-15% (can't recall the exact # now) over the following two months when I started my CBD regimen. Good luck to you! Vision issues are terrifying. Unfortunately for me it forced me to disability retire from my job. Almost two years later, I am actually somewhat thankful for the optical neuritis. It really forced me to make some big life changes that have been very positive. XX
I no it's hard BUT try to stay Strong Soldier..
I get it as part of my relapse. Steroids get rid of it. I have had it due to stress or heat but lasts a short time period.
Have you talked to your Dr?
UK NHS - MS Neuro / MS Nurse / GP / MS Eye Doctor , is the route I would take xx
