@A MyMSTeam Member My understanding is if you haven’t found an MS treatment that works for and you’ve had this for a number of years, then your disease could be transitioning to another stage; one where you might not notice relapses or remitting, just a continual worsening of symptoms. I’m attaching an article that talks about transitioning from RRMS Relapsing Remitting to SPMS Secondary-Progressive MS. This is something everyone with RRMS will have to go through at some point during their disease; when depends upon a number of factors which are discussed in the article:

https://www.everydayhealth.com/multiple-scleros...

My first real symptoms started in September 2009, definitive diagnosis came June 2010. Since I found Aubagio in April 2014, I haven’t had any more relapses or new lesions and I can do things again I haven’t been able to since before my MS journey started. This article just mentions not smoking matters but not why, so I found another article that really hammers home why you shouldn’t smoke and attached the link as well:

I didn’t know smoking can hasten the time frame for transitioning from RRMS to SPMS, did you? That’s just one thing I learned when I read article.

My MS lately has been slow and methodical. No major bangers like in the past. Just always lurking and slowing me down physically and mentally

I have been doing the MS thing for more than 29 years and one of the relapses was with My Vision causing Blurred/Double...

Now, not Always a Problem, But when I get Heat, presents it's self again. So to answer Your Inquiry, it could hold on for life I guess... Wishing for Better all the time!

50 years with MS I did not transition. No two MSers are the same.
