Any trauma to the body can cause a flare up or new symptom, but that is minor in comparison to doing what you have to for your heart. Nothing may change with your MS or something may. You can deal with whatever then. Don't cause yourself extra stress. Take care and stay positive.

Trust me, they don't care one bit about your MS when you're having a heart attack, the attitude was very much as long as we save the heart, it doesn't matter if we turn his brain to mush. They lost £1200 of my MS meds, didn't replace them and were gonna give me whatever they could lay their hands on until I pointed out that was downright dangerous, i left hospital because i didn't feel safe, a cardio doctor knows nothing about MS and vice versa.

I think what @A MyMSTeam Member is saying is your more apt to pass away from ignoring the heart issues, than the concern of its effects on your MS(no cure) ... trust your doctors. If there were a concern, I'd think they'd discuss it with you first. At least I'd hope they would
