There are days when i just feel so mentally and physically drained, i dont think i realise that little things are building up and then just one day it hits me. Does everyone get this? It can be hard to explain, people expect if you dont feel well you should feel sick or some kind of distinguishable ache or pain, but its not like that.

Yep. And sadly, I can't nap. I do sleep deeply at night (thank you, cannabis!). The MITO food plan has helped me a ton with energy. When I deviate from it the fatigue returns so for me, there's definitely a link between food and energy. Here's a link to the plan in case you want to check it out. My integrative medicine DR (who also has MS) recommended it for me.

I have had so many of those days. I am trying to learn to pace myself. I seem to have more energy and clear thinking in the morning, which was the opposite when I was younger. My guy and children notice if I am overdoing things even before I am drained to the point of not being able to walk and need to sit down. It is hard to figure out the little things that add up, that's for sure. Not too long ago I set a timer for me to rest, whether I fall asleep or watch a show...not always good at it, but trying. I also am trying to not overdo it as I've always tried to get so much done and it definitely affects me.
I hope you find a way to rest or whatever way helps you to save energy.

If you don’t have the energy to exercise, try stretching muscles, hold the stretch for 30seconds or more per muscle. Just relax, listening to zen music to clear off the mind can really help.

Thanks guys, it is a little frustrating, are there things you do to try and avoid these days or things you do to get through them? Diet and exercise is a good one, sometimes i dont have the energy to exercise, but i read an article that was suggesting you change your idea if exercise and just make it a 'habit'
