With secondary progressive MS you can still have relapses, but they happen a lot less often. Recovery from those relapses can be very small. See article👇

What is the difference between secondary progressive without relapses and primary progressive?

Why does Ocrevus (DMD fda approved 2017 for primary progressive) work to slow disease progression in primary progressive and NOT secondary progressive?
