Yes I have those types of feelings as well. Muscle soreness, hot and cold even waking up in the middle of the night soaking wet from having cold sweats. Sore throat that just won't go away. I get this only a few times a year these flu like symptoms but I know I'm not actually sick.
Also for the people who commented about feeling like they get sick more often since having MS that is true And is kind of a given. Our immune systems are now not only trying to defend us from illnesses but they spend the other half of the time attacking ourselves. So A normal person's immune system does nothing but defend that where ours is doing that but also killing us LOL. so we have that going on which also makes it easier for us to catch everything and anything out there. then if we do catch something even very minor like a little cold it's 10 times worse for us because we don't have the full support of a healthy immune system to cure it which causes a simple cold to stick around longer as well. God forbid we ever actually catch a real flu and that could be a hospital visit for some of us. Best advice is to stay away from anyone you know is sick or you hear coughing or blowing their nose a lot, just run the other way LOL.
@A MyMSTeam Member yeah its like i know i dont have the flu, i dont have a fever or anything but my legs are cramped up like the flu im shaking im cold im sore all over nauseated and my throat is killing me:( what symptoms did you have?
I didn't think it was the MS at first, but after the second time I realized it wasn't a cold or flu. It's the on-going game of "is it or isn't it?" :)
Husband has Ms and did have severe flu like symptoms when he was on an injectable Ms med, many are similar to chemo, and will cause this
I love it!! Thank you!!
