Lupus has mouth sore issues too. BUT in regards to MS, I do sometimes get these and its difficult to chew. I feel like its one specific spot more than my entire mouth as you explain. But I have never really kept track of it in regards to a relapse. It happens very seldom..just had it a couple weeks ago actually. I have felt arm weakness on both sides and left leg "weirdness" as well following this mouth thing.

Have you told your neurologist about this? There is a condition that mimics MS that causes recurrent mouth ulcers (and other signs) called Behcet Disease. It can manifest specifically as something called Neuro-Behcet.
I’m not saying I think you have it or anything - I’m going way out on a limb here but I just wanted to let you know about it in case it’s related?

I was getting an aphthous ulcer every other month on gilenya

Not really any odd sensations but i have had a cough for the last 8 weeks that i just cant shift x

Are you having any pain in your face or odd, uncomfortable sensations on the side that has the ulcers?
I had shingles three years ago on the left side of my face and even inside my mouth and throat.
I believe I also relapsed at the same time.
