Ok, MS &/or Caregivers Warriors. How you or your loved on ever experienced feeling like your body is 😴 sleep but you are wide awake😲.
This has got to be one of the weirdest & crazy feelings that I have dealt with. Sooo fatigue, worn out, body just limp, drained etc. Spoke with Nerologist about it & he stated that this happens with people who don't have MS. Well I have never experienced this til about 1 year ago. I'm just saying. Lord Help!!!

Good question!! I asked the exact same thing back in 2014; I was told that I was having bad spasms with both legs. I forgot the name of the meds that were prescribed for me at the time and just started to take regular Centrum Silver over the counter, helps with strength. Only 1 pill a day along with my regular vitamin B 100mg also over the counter.
MSF 4 Numbness or Tingling I hope this helps.
Numbness of the face, body or extremities (arms and legs) is one of the most common symptoms of MS. Often it’s the first symptom experienced by those eventually diagnosed with MS. The numbness may be mild or so severe that it interferes with the ability to use the affected body part. For example, a person with very numb feet may have difficulty walking. Numb hands may prevent writing, dressing, or holding objects safely.
People with MS who have severe facial numbness should be very careful when eating or chewing, as they may unwittingly bite the inside of their mouth or tongue. People with numbness over other parts of the body should be careful around fires, hot water and other sources of heat, as they may suffer a burn without realizing it.
There are no medications to relieve numbness. Fortunately, however, most instances of numbness are not disabling, and tend to remit on their own. In very severe cases, a neurologist may prescribe a brief course of corticosteroids, which often can temporarily restore sensation.
Listen to your body. Sometimes I could have good nights sleep and still wake up tired. My brain wants to get up but my body not ready. I call it my MS day and rest as much as I can.
I get times when my whole body feels numb, even my brain, lol. It doesn't always happen just when I'm tired so it has to be part of the MS fun. Definitely feels weird.
I think my fatigue got better after I changed my eating habits. I'm basically off sugar, grains, and dairy. It haven't been as hard as I thought it would be and the rewards are worth it.
