I would talk to my doctors and find out from them good luck xo
To take Tecfidera, I had to verbally look my DR in the eye and tell him I would use protection to prevent pregnancy. When I was first diagnosed, he put me on Copaxone, because my partner and I weren't sure if we wanted to have children (well, we were pretty sure, but because I couldn't say 100% at that time, he thought that Copaxone would be best and give me time to decide). He seemed to believe that Copaxone would be safe but that Tecfidera would not. Definitely something to discuss with the DR. XX
I take Aubagio and there are giant warnings about pregnancy. I am by no means a doctor but I do believe that the ms meds are not conducive to pregnancy. Take care 💜
When choosing my long term plan I chose ocrevus because we want more children. Tysabri is a category C drug which means it can cause severe birth defects. Ocrevus is category D which causes miscarriages but you have the chance to try every 3 months and that’s why I chose it.
Definitely talk with your doctor. Mine asked me about my intentions to have children when I was diagnosed. I still am not planning to have children but he told me to tell him right away if I changed my mind. Most of what I have read makes me think you would need to come off the medication unless there is a new one out there that is safe. I've also heard most people deal with like no symptoms during the pregnancy. Best of luck to you!
