I too suffer with bad balance problems, I use a walking stick, but even with that I walk and appear to be drunk even though I don't drink. I was given excersises to do to help with balance and help strengthen my weaker side. I find myself using two sticks or my powered wheelchair. I hope that you find this helpful. God bless you.

When my balance gets bad I try to adjust my back so that my hip muscles work more efficiently. Limping dislocated my lower back and causes all kinds of sciatic pain. Stretching exercises are a must. They’ve helped me a lot. The stronger my legs are the better my balance is. I work out at a gym and this has helped me stay upright.

For balance issues, the self stand walking cane is a cool little assisting tool, Amazon.com sells a variety alongside the individual base element of the cane The cane in post also has a built in flashlight feature that's pretty neat ^o^

Use a cane and do core strengthening exercises. Don't let vanity make you unsafe.
