Are you asking about the MS hug? Here is some information from my knowledge base:
- Description: The MS hug is a painful symptom of multiple sclerosis (MS) that feels like a tight band squeezing the chest or ribs. It is caused by involuntary spasms in the small intercostal muscles between the ribs.
- Symptoms: It can cause tightness anywhere between the neck and waist, and may be felt on one or both sides of the body. The sensation can range from an annoying tickle to a viselike grip that makes breathing difficult.
- Causes: Nerve damage produces abnormal sensations, and muscle spasms create pressure, tightness, and aching. Common triggers include heat, stress, exertion, flares, relapses, and even tight clothing.
- Management: Rest, cooling down, reducing stress, breathing techniques, yoga, and stretching can help manage the discomfort. Keeping a pain diary can also assist in better managing and treating triggers and severity.
Always consult with your doctor to rule out other medical issues and to discuss any symptoms you experience.

I can hardly stand a bra anymore. They hurt and feels like I’m being cut into. I purchased Ronda shears aha bras off hsn they have no hooks. They are the only thing I can wear. Hope this helps.
