Christy, I know how you feel I deal with muscle weakness and the heaviness too. I can't go to the gym like the doctor wants me to help with making the muscle stronger because I can't afford to go. But I do have access to a pool where I go and this is easier on the body anyway and doesn't wear me out as bad, but still get a good work out. One way I've tried to deal with heavy limbs as to try to stretch . After my toileting, I do a short warm up routine (takes about 5 minutes) and is no more than a reminder to my muscles to be ready to work with me. Muscle relaxers work, just not for me but they can be important. I do take a low dose of them 2x a day but the daily stretching helped me tons. Good luck!!

@A MyMSTeam Member, I go by LaZy, I was Dx'd back in 2005, since I've been through a few Steroid Infusions to help clear up a left eye Blurred issue (it worked). Now I am dealing with my left leg Not cooperating Correctly. New Neurologist I will meet next month, hopefully This one will Help me out. I hope that you've found a Neurologist closely to help You with your issues. I recently figured out that baclofen contributes to a lot of weakness in my arms. Also if I have a cold or uti going on I have less function. Stress is a paralitic. I cannot move if there is a lot of stress in my life.
