Well for me my first shot was only 1/3 of a dose.. But that was because l had given bitth to my last baby. He was only three month's old. Beings l was brest feeding we deceived not to keep putting off my medication. So we started with smaller doses and gradually added more. Up to the full dose. This way hopefully I wouldn't get any flu type symptoms. And thank God I never have. I also take my shots at night. Beings I have multiple health conditions I also have morining rounds of medications too. This works best for me.

I was on plegridy for 1 1/2 years. I used a warm rice bag on my injection site about a minute or two before I injected.( I found cold did not help me.) I took IBProfen every time. It took the edge off of the side effects. I did my injections at night so I could sleep through most the side effects. I found I took a lot of Ibprofen while on Plegridy. So dont feel bad taking it. It’s a subcutaneous injection that you do once every 2 weeks.

I have done self injections on Avonex and a Copaxone and Clinic infusions of Tylenol and Ocrevus. I have never heard of Plegridy. What is it? Thanks.
