I think the bigger question is did the spouse ever fall out of love. Those of us with MS know how totally unpredictable the disease is and, unfortunately, it often leads "us" to take our feelings of uncertainty out on others. "we" also know being with "us" is no picnic. With that said, I think the marriage can be put back together with a bunch of hard work. If I was the 1 with MS, I know it would start by me expressing the fear that goes with a MS diagnosis and a heart felt apology for how I acted, I'm assuming the MSer probably has a few things there
I'm trying to get up the money to get a divorce my ex started going online, while I was down. Next thing I knew all he could talk about was another woman and I knew he was cheating I had miscarried and didn't let him know, he didn't want kids.
Yes, I got Divorced after 3 years of Marriage. this loser knew I had MS when we got married; H e was too much of a wimp and IDIOT to deal with it...HIS LOSS by far !!
Thank you JimmyB for your thoughts. It is very tough being the one without MS in the relationship for one reason or another. I also realize my wife battles MS like a champ. It is no walk in the park and it is new to us. I appreciate your responding to my question. Any information i or we can get is helpful to the situation.
