I have a hard time falling asleep when its time to go to bed. I am looking for different options to try!
I take Trazadone 50 mg. It should be taken probably 4-5 hours before you want to sleep and eating at the same time helps it work better. It's an old antidepressant that wasn't very effective but it does help with sleep.
Know you aren't alone with sleep issues! I've had sleep problems my entire life before any knowledge of MS. MMJ - once you find a strain that relaxes you - is very helpful.
Also, learn some meditation skills. Breathing, relaxation techniques. Both will help you with sleep, life skills, etc.
Edibles for Me.
Smoke weed or eatables
Hi I've been taking 20mg amitriptyline for 5 years now which does really help.
My ms doc said he was only giving me these to relax my muscles in bed...I can sleep 8 hours most nights..
Definately try them..😊
I took Ambien for a period, but I don't take it anymore, I can fall asleep pretty well. From my point of view Ambien is the best for falling asleep quick;y and waking up in the morning fresh, ready to start a new day.
