When I took Avonex I would take it Sunday nights, get a horrible nights sleep with lots of shaking and sweating but get up with my alarm, showering and go to work. Later, I found that the shaking and sweating were side effects I really didn't need to bear so I hope you don't experience anything similar but it's OK if you do and say something much sooner than I did. To me, the hardest part of taking Avonex was the needle and the me giving myself the shot. I didn't consider what was to be done the day after and was able to accomplish all my tasks.

Sunday night is when I take my Avonex injection, with a Tylenol and Lyrica, so it's not such a bad side effect the next day ❤️ My on side effect is my fibromyalgia reacts up . I know this is an older post, although it just popped up. Blessings 💕

I had an awful reaction to avonex, i still have the blemishes at my injection sites years later. I am now on Rebiff and the side effects are minimal.

I used to take it in the evening, Fridays I think and I'd have other counter medicine on hand to deal with side effects. Best of luck x

Thank you all! Yes, it has been a while since this post was made. but i am now on Aubagio (since may 2022). Ive been okay with it, no major side effects, however i was just told that i have to get the generic version on my next refill 😞
