I have been struggling with depression and anxiety. My therapist recommended I join a support group for those with MS, but I haven't been able to find one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I've been to the MS warriors group and think it's a good one but there's a Saturday. If you would like to get your feet wet with a group follow this link tomorrow at 2 pm EST. 1 pm CST, noon MST, 11 am PST

@A MyMSTeam Member, As @A MyMSTeam Member posted you have found a virtual MS Support Community here - Welcome!

Also, My Neurolog Center sponsored two support groups one for newly diagnosed and one for those that have been diagnosed for a longer time. Check with your Neurologist for a referral to a MS Support Group.

You could also check with the MS Society of Greater New England, 101A First Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451.
(Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators).

MS Society offers local groups - and they have a virtual Peer Support option as well - all easy to access on their website www.mssociety.org If you want to have a 1:1 conversation with another person with MS I recommend the Peer Support option. If just being around a group of other folks with MS offers enough support you can join a local MS group (most are meeting virtually right now)....OR...

I attend the above meetings @A MyMSTeam Member mentioned - it's a great place to get peer support. We've been meeting over 3 years and always welcome new folks! Hope to see you there! 🧡
