It’s uncontrollable itching, soles of feet, palms of hands, and back. At some point it turns from itching to burning, like your skin is on fire. Has anyone here experienced this? They put me on meds to help until the neuro appt but it still happens occasionally. Any ideas what helps?

The itching or rather the scratching is what causes the burning, Ice is the answer,Ice the itch before you scratch.it numbs the nerves and stops the itch before it grows into the unending itch. Benadryl or other antihistamines will help .

How long was your itching?? I'm wondering because mine was for a year and a 1/2. Does that seem normal?

It sucks. Eventually it does stop. Benadryl usually helps me, massage too.
