Many people living with MS experience gastrointestinal symptoms, including stomach inflammation. Some MS medications can cause side effects like diarrhea and abdominal pain. For instance, a MyMSTeam member reported major stomach issues like cramps and diarrhea while taking Aubagio. Another member mentioned that taking steroids on an empty stomach caused stomach pain, and they sometimes took an antacid to prevent irritation. Cause constipation? Probiotics are meant to help with constipation! Probiotics help my gut in so many ways. Keeping me regular is one of them . They are a life saver!! My gastrounalogist Dr is the one who told me to start taking them back in 2014. Thank you Dr. 😊

When I don't take my probiotics I feel it! My gut feels awful without them. And when I buy the real cheap ones, I suffer for it. It's a nessesary expense for sure!!

I think we all eventually have a gastrologist, urologist and any other specialist you can think of. MS is not a kind disease.
