A good way to look at this new doctor is you will bring up all your issues you believe may be from MS. Not that a neurologist won't know but a MS specialist should know and may have options for you to try. The MS specialist should know more about available MS DMDs that could be recommended to you. Further, the MS specialist and their office should be more aware of programs to help with the cost of meds.

I had M.S. for 25 years and the dr was only in his 4th year of beeing a specialist. I've had problems with other so called pros and I told them to go back to school and learn about the disease. Hope you have better luck than I did. Hugs and prayers to you.sincerely Mike😀

I see Dr. Emily Riser! She is a great Dr! She is usually so booked up so it's hard to get in to see her personally. Her nurse practitioner is good and will run things through Dr. Riser if she has questions. They are very caring staff! What area do you live in?? I live in the McCalla Bessemer area.
