Anyone Know The Difference Between PPMS And SPMS?

PPMS is defined by the progression from the onset of the disease; SPMS is reached after an initial course of RRMS. Most people will eventually transition to SPMS after RRMS.

I am convinced that Copaxone is useless for many people. I tried it with no results. I’ve met one person who said it worked for her. This is a small sample size! But if it doesn’t work for you, try something else! Your neurologist should help!!

Generally a DMT (disease modifying therapy) helps keep the progression of MS at bay (keeps you stable)
I’m on Ocrevus which is used for both RR and SPMS. So I’m told :)

Yeah well, my dr had me on Copaxone for almost 8 years. I haven’t been able to walk since 2014. So no remitting for me. I think I’m PPMS
