Does Anyone Feel As Though They Just Can’t Sit Still?

Does Anyone Feel As Though They Just Can’t Sit Still?

At times I'm just sitting, watching TV, relaxing and I have to keep moving my legs. It’s as though I can’t find a comfortable position to stop my anxious legs. No pain, just constant re-placement of my position until I stand up and walk around. Sometimes in bed, it also happens when trying to fall asleep.

This happens to me sometimes. I have noticed it more often when I am not active 1-2 hours before bedtime (like watching a movie at night). It is so uncomfortable and makes watching a movie with my family hard because it's distracting to everyone. I MUST get up and move or it will drive me insane. It will usually continue as I try to go to sleep. I don't have any advice or answers on how to make it stop, but you are not alone in that feeling.

YES! Sometimes I notice it’s because my balance issue is off and sitting is just harder for me to balance. Sometimes it’s more pressure somewhere than pain. Sometimes it’s just my attention span. Often do it talking- I get animated! It’s an effort to speak sometimes- and I’ve noted I do that more when my chest is in spasms. But more oft than not- burning sensations are creeping up and my body deals with it before I think about it anymore:)

Happens to me in the morning after a nights sleep. Just lying in bed is not an option, because of the yucky feelings in my legs and feet.
